Affine Financial Services was founded in 2008 in response to the collapse of confidence in financial services.  My mission is to provide top-quality financial advice to individuals and families.  I take my fiduciary responsibilities seriously and strive to provide excellent service at a reasonable price.

Helen Maynard is the founder and principal of Affine Financial Services.  She holds a Doctorate in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.  Her undergraduate degree, also in Materials Science, is from Cornell University.  She enjoys applying her quantitative skills to solve both engineering and financial problems.  She is a former Captain in the US Air Force.

Helen has been an active investor for over 25 years, through several market cycles.  She is presently enrolled in Boston University’s program to become a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
